Hypochondria is a little bit more extreme than cyberchondria. Firstly, hypochondria is health anxiety that a person has when they see for example a rash on them, they think what they have is much worse than it really is. On the contrary, cyberchondria is when someone looks up their symptoms online. Furthermore, people who suffer from hypochondria and cyberchondria deal with their problem not only for a little while but it can affect their work life, home line, and their relationships The two are closely related to each other but one just uses the internet and the other just sees it and freaks out.
